An air of autumn adorns this sunny Saturday in Landes and Soustons. It's decided, I'm setting out to discover the Itiné'Rêve, the cycle path and also artistic route which connects Soustons to Soustons-Plage.
By bike from Soustons to the beach
I put on my tennis shoes, a comfortable outfit and there I am, my feet on the pedals, my rear end comfortably installed on the saddle. Seven kilometers in the forest, a greenway which is designed for the comfort of non-motorized users. In short, a paradise for cyclists and walkers! Clear signage and a boulevard of nature unfolds before me.
Much more than a greenway...
It’s also an artistic route that I take. I am talking to you about an educational, environmental and cultural territory project which saw the light of day thanks to the commitment of a teacher from the Isle Verte school and the imagination of her CM2 students. It is from their artistic interpretation of the fauna and flora encountered on these 8 kilometers of greenway, their collaboration with BTS boilermaking students and the support of the City that this artistic journey composed of 38 boilermaking sculptures was born. giants.
Come, I will take you there
As for the works of the Itiné'rêve, they take me to the ocean, a well-deserved masterpiece which marks the end of the circuit. My cycling journey was contemplative, rejuvenating and also a little sporty (cycling is sport)! The return is completely peaceful and allows me to fully enjoy the surrounding landscapes.
Of all the works encountered, my favorite is the dead tree and its dragonflies in flight, no… the Farfeuillus, no… the Balance…. And you, what will yours be?
