Day 2: the benefits of the forest

It’s the cycling day of the stay. Track Capbreton-Labenne is a portion of theEuro-Veloroute 1 « The Velodyssey ". Mostly in the forest, it borders pine trees and water points such as the Boudigau canal. A fun and bucolic walk, it leads in a few kilometers to Labenne-Ocean where the view of the ocean is limitless. Deep breathing recommended. The most curious – and romantic – can stroll towards the wooden footbridge guaranteeing dune preservation and discover the very pretty Sainte-Therese Chapel who watches over this vulnerable environment. Let's not hang around. You have an appointment to discover the forest by scooter. Another option with smaller children, the Labenne Zoo is waiting for you for a family visit. Day 3: Discovery of the banks of Adour

Do you know the Landes coast well and want more? Discovery, surprises, stories... A few minutes from the coast, head towards Josse where the banks of the river invite you to learn even more. A walk on the “ Scandibérique » – portion of theEuroveloroute 3 – leads you to Saubusse, small village that has gone through history. Ah if stone walls could talk! Former prosperous trading port whose history is as tumultuous as the Adour River, what remains, over the years, is a very beautiful listed church from the 13th century, La maison Betbeder, La maison Bellepeyre, Château de Bezincam… and the wash houses. THE Barthes There are also interesting wetlands to visit. Day 4: Between sport and traditions in Soustons

Did you know? soustons has the same surface area as Paris! 100 km² mainly covered with forestslacs. The commune extends to the Ocean and its beach of golden sand. The visit begins at Pointe des Vergnes, superb wooded area opening in front of this lake with gray reflections, a training place among other things for theFrench rowing team. The other part further north – side Azur – is protected Natura 2000 area allowing sublime walks in paddle boarding or  canoe. It is also an opportunity to pass through the doors of small local product shops in the city center before heading towards the seaside for a golf initiation to the sound of the ocean. A little advice in passing: there is a cycle path lined with an artistic route linking the city to the beach: theItinedream. A must do!

Day 5: reconnect with simple pleasures in Vieux Boucau

Landes pastis on the Vieux Boucau market

Let's start, at the foot of the arenas, with the very famous market of Vieux-Boucau. Smells, colors and atmosphere, this market alone is worth the detour. THE local produce come from the four corners of the department but the Gascon accent persists in unison. The advice will be very easily personalized. You will probably spend more time there than expected as it stops. The time has come to give way to simple pleasures good things and great encounters. Later, the walk continues towards the city center and its église, Its small streets lined with shops and restaurants. Need a good deal for lunch? The digestive walk can be done around the marine lake. The curious try a small paddle outing on the calm waters bordering the small central island of the lake. Located in Natura 2000 zone, this small piece of land, covered with pines and Cork oaks, is home to wildlife and rich biodiversity to be preserved. The signs placed along the lakeside walk will tell you a little more.

Day 6: Go green in Moliets-et-Maâ

Cournant d'Huchet Nature Reserve

The green of his golf course, the green of nature reserve which borders the Courant d'Huchet, the green of this forest which protects the Chapel barely hidden. Here, everything is peace and wonder. To find out, head straight to the Central Beach. At a glance we can see each other. On the right, the mouth of the Current whose meanders evolve throughout the year on this immense beach. Without doubt the largest of the South coast of Landes. On the left, a few meters away, the last Golf course come to advance towards the ocean. Unique !
