Triathlon Challenge Vieux-Boucau - Landes Atlantique Sud

The town of Vieux-Boucau is once again a stopover town for the Challenge Family! An international Triathlon meeting which will take place on October 5 and 6, 2024. In the heart of the Landes landscapes between lakes and forests, the triathletes will compete on 3 courses without forgetting the kids!

Challenge Middle distance

The iconic Challenge race. The athletes will have to swim 1900 meters in the marine lake of Vieux-Boucau – a truly unique place. The cycling part is also unique, after the transition they will leave for a 90Km loop on the particularly flat and fast roads of the Landes! Finally, it will be time to finish with a half marathon. This fast running course is located around Lake Vieux-Boucau, spectators will be there to encourage them. They can try to perform and set their best time on this course, but the most important thing is to share an unforgettable experience!

Olympic Triathlon

The triathlon format, retained for the women's and men's Olympic events. A departure in the marine lake of Vieux-Boucau and the tour of its island to exit next to the marine entrance. The start of the bike will be along the marine lake, then the participants will ride on a winding but very flat road in the Landes pines along the lake. soustons. After two beautiful straight lines, they will leave the first village to take the return road through the typical Landes villages. The running race has a very flat and fast route around the Marine Lake, then a passage through the heart of the village of Vieux Boucau where the atmosphere will guide them to the finish line.
