Since 2001, L'Opéra des Landes has produced and presented, every summer in Soustons, a festival with, as its flagship work, an opera given in full and exploring the classical, contemporary and vocal repertoire.

As you may have noticed, this edition is under the protection of a unique guest: the flamingo, a symbol of balance, grace, and tenderness. With its vivacity and elegance, we will take you on a musical journey filled with emotion and celebration. Enjoy the festival!

Saturday, July 12
Metamorphosis Quartet

20:30 p.m. at St. Pierre Church, Soustons “Lights and Shadows: The String Quartets of Mozart and Ravel”.
Wisdom doesn't wait for age: Mozart and Ravel, these two geniuses, reinvented the string quartet before even reaching their thirties. Mozart injects a dark and poignant tone, already marked by the shadow of his Requiem, while Ravel, with his impressionistic nuances, infuses this iconic genre with a palette of formidably bold colors and textures. A meeting between the tragic and the sublime, between light and darkness.
Wednesday, July 16
Evviva the Opera
At 20:30 p.m. in Saint Pandelon at the Domaine Array dou Sou (former Château des Evêques) The Académie Opéra des Landes, a new institution of the Festival, offers young singers the opportunity to perfect their lyrical art for a month in the heart of the Landes.
At the end of this immersion, the artists offer you "Evviva l'opéra," a rich and varied program, mixing ensembles and opera arias. Bizet, Gounod, Verdi, and Rossini will be honored in this evening dedicated to passion and excellence.

Friday July 18
Crazy!

At 20:30 p.m. at the Roger Hanin Cultural Center, Soustons. Unclassifiable, the show is located at the crossroads of theater, opera and the "gesticulated" conference. With this creation, Michelle LARROCHE wanted to offer spectators with no knowledge of opera the possibility of entering this world, of desacralizing the idea of inaccessibility associated with it while allowing regulars to listen again to the great soprano arias in an unusual way: on the accordion and through the prism of the texts of an early feminist, Catherine Clément.
Saturday, July 19
Journey to the land of Spain
At 20:30 p.m. at Parc de la Pandelle, Soustons From José Marín, a prolific composer and scandalous figure of the 17th century, to Astor Piazzolla, the inimitable and brilliant composer from Buenos Aires, we offer you a musical journey to the land(s) of Spain which, we hope, will make you (re)discover the musical jewels of the Iberian Peninsula.
Exceptional date Friday August 1st at 20:30 p.m. at Domaine Array Dou Sou in Saint Pandelon

Wednesday, July 23
Jaume on the Way

At 20:30 p.m. at St. Clement's Church, Vieux-Boucau
By Opér'Azul. "Jaume on the Way" is a storytelling concert performed by three musicians. The show combines legends, sketches, and music inspired by the great repertoires of the 21th and 20th centuries. The story alternates between Occitan and French, making it understandable for all audiences. Jaume sets out on a quest to discover tales in the Middle Ages. He must face the dangers and avoid the evil death. As in a picaresque novel, he will cross paths with characters, fantastical beings who will help him grow in what our hero possesses most: the sharing (nobility of heart) of the Troubadours. Another date is Monday, July 30 at XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. at the church of Escource.
Saturday, July 26
Broadway in Les Landes
At 20:30 p.m. at the Roger Hanin Cultural Center, Soustons.
The greatest Anglo-Saxon composers of the 20th century will be in the spotlight: Bernstein, Gershwin, Rodgers & Hammerstein, Sondheim... So many masters who shaped the legend of Broadway, where the most emblematic musicals were born and conquered the world.
New York's musical DNA comes to Les Landes, for our greatest pleasure and pride!
