Disability Night is the annual event for changing perspectives. A festive occasion open to all, to encourage encounters, break down stereotypes, reveal talents, and celebrate the richness of our differences: because encounters are a celebration!

The Saubion event organized by theSaubion So Cool Association, will bring together numerous associations, institutions, artists and partners mobilized around the same objective: changing the way we look at disability across the meeting, celebration and highlighting of talents.

A program to discover inclusion and disability
A day to discover, understand and experience inclusion differently.
Through sensory workshops, sports activities, and opportunities for sharing and raising awareness, this program invites young and old to change their perspective on disability. Together, let's explore the paths of accessibility, creativity, and community.
Free entry – Free entertainment and concerts
More than 30 activities, led by 170 speakers: an accessible journey where each space is an open door to meeting, learning and sharing.
A day filled with discoveries, workshops, and activities focused on disability, inclusion, and well-being. The program is even richer:
- Discovering the senses : Immersive workshops to experience perceptions differently: sign language, sign café, blind art, visual impairment, art therapy, creation of a participatory fresco and a friendship bench offered to the Tosse school. Flash tattoo.
- Sport for all : Discovery of adapted sports: boccia, wheelchair basketball and rugby, adapted boxing, tennis, archery… with the support of the Sport Integration and Development Service of the Landes department.
- The body in motion : Activities based around dance, circus, accessible yoga and flash massages.
- Inclusion seeds : Activities for children and families: comics, leisure, games, carrying, screening of a collaborative clip produced by the CM2 class of the Saubion School, the students of the IME Les Pléiades de Dax and in partnership with Landes Musiques Amplifiées.
- And what about employment in all this? A dedicated space to provide information on professional integration with Cap Emploi, France Travail, Agefiph and the Landes Local Mission.
- Invisible disability : Raising awareness of often misunderstood disabilities: endometriosis, epilepsy, neurodevelopmental and psychological disorders, multiple sclerosis, etc. Experience your challenge with Hope Team East.
- No health without mental health : Workshops on mental well-being: First Aid in Mental Health, The Garden of the Within®, Journey to the Heart of the Mental Cosmos®.
- On all fours for inclusion : Presentation of guide dogs for the blind and assistance dogs.
Sound, fun, emotions
With (very) strong times
Personalized suspended moments, full of emotion, de pride and a beautiful collective energy : to experience absolutely!
- Concerts
- 20h30 - Percujam, an iconic group of young autistic adults and their educators. Contagious energy and a strong message.
- 21h45 - Cumbiam'bero, to make Saubion vibrate to the irresistible sounds of Colombian cumbia.
- 23 p.m. – Exceptional DJ Set by Pony Pony Run Run, a cult French electro pop group.
- And also …
- The interpretation of theofficial anthem of the festival, sung by the children of the Saubion school
- La screening of the video clip produced by GS/CP and CM2 pupils from the Saubion school and the IME of Saint-Paul-lès-Dax with Landes Musiques Amplifiées
- La Giant raffle : many prizes to be won including a Rip Curl surfboard customized by Mrs Masch, an electric scooter customized by Steven Burke, weekends in the mountains, nights at the Baya Hotel, etc.

Everywhere in France!
The aim of Disability Night is to promote people with disabilities through the holding of festive events open to all.
As every year, in June, a festive and friendly day is
organized in public squares in cities across France. Many partner associations in the field of disability participate in it with the aim of:
- facilitate meetings between people with disabilities and those without,
- change the way we look at disability,
- and to create lasting links in each city
Because the meeting is a celebration!
