Every year, pink is in the spotlight in October to highlight those who fight breast cancer. The towns and associations of the southern coast of Landes are mobilizing through sporting events open to all to raise funds for breast cancer research. The opportunity for you too to get your pink ribbon!

Vieux-Boucau
The whole city comes alive
- Until October 30, Boucalais businesses are selling pink umbrellas, pink fabric bracelets and heart cushions to raise funds for research.
- Le Sunday 6 October : Pink Durf Day Challenge #3: Fun and friendly girls' day on the beach at the Estacade.
- Le Sunday 27 October : 1,2,3 go for The Boucalaise. It is a solidarity walk or run, with 2 courses offered: the 2 km leisure course or the 5 or 10 km sports course. No time, no ranking, no podium. Just a friendly joint action for a good cause and of course pink dress code!
- With family or friends, go to the mini golf course! Tuesday 26 October From 10am the mini-golf will be open and all profits will be donated to the cancer league.
Capbreton
Cap in pink
Seventh edition of Cap en Rose ! Organized by the association HOPE TEAM EAST in collaboration with the City of Capbreton Cap en Rose is a sporting and charitable event. It is an untimed race, organized for the benefit of the fight against cancer as part ofPink October. All profits from the event are donated to the association. HOPE TEAM EAST which each year supports people suffering from illness in achieving a sporting challenge.
On the program: 5 or 10 km race, 5 km walk, kids' race, prevention village, activities, refreshments, etc. Sign up!
soustons
The Soustonnaise in freedom
Sunday, October 20 at 10 a.m., a challenge to give and surpass yourself around the Soustons lake, on the Isle verte plain side, with a choice of a 6.2 km walk or run. Registration will be open from October 1st, online, €7 donated to the Landes departmental committee of the league against cancer.
The associations will be present at the Hall des sports du lac, the starting and finishing point of the race with entertainment, prevention stands, refreshments and cake sales.
Labenne
Two courses and a highlight on September 12
Du October 1 to November 17, the City mobilizes the people of Laben to encourage screening for breast, prostate and testicular cancer, and raises funds for the HOPE TEAM EAST association. To support Pink October and Movember, which supports research into male diseases, the city is setting up two courses of 7 and 9 km (walking or running). You can show your commitment by registering at the Town Hall from October 1st and making a donation, before pexplore the pink-strewn countryside of Laben at your own pace until November 17.

🩷 11:30 a.m. performance by the Bulles & Cie. troupe / ICE BUCKET CHALLENGE
🩷 Photo exhibition “Dare to Face Evils” (photographs, texts and testimonies by Nathalie Safraouine and Laure Aussenac) on view at the Town Hall until November 17.
🩵 Sales and donations (from 16 years old) at the Town Hall from October 1 to November 17 for the benefit of the associations HOPE TEAM EAST & LES INVINCIBLES: Scarf sold for €5 for the benefit of HOPE TEAM EAST. Free donation – to each association – by check or cash.
