Developing the artistic life of the commune, creating social links between residents and nourishing the spirit of each person, such is the ambition which guided the municipality in the programming of the 2024/2025 cultural season in Capbreton.
Loyal and newcomers
On the program, 22 shows and scientific meetings from September 2024 to July 2025, both varied and accessible to all. There is something for all tastes and all audiences with one thing in common: an assumed artistic requirement and a diversity of proposals. Storytelling, theater, circus, clown, humor, conferences ... A highlight of this cultural season, the singer Alain Chamfort, icon of the 80s and musical reference for many musicians, will give a concert in an intimate atmosphere at the Ph'Art hall on the occasion of his farewell tour. So dive into the discovery of this cultural season ... and be amazed!

The House of Orality and Heritage
Located in a renovated 16th century building, the MOP (House of Orality and Heritage) houses the memory of the city. An unmissable place that reveals the different faces of Capbreton, its history and its heritage. You can discover original works from the heritage collection (paintings, sculptures, maps, objects, videos, etc.).
It is also 5 to 6 temporary exhibitions per year and workshops, meetings, walks or guided tours
The L'Ecume des Jours Media Library and Toy Library
La The Foam of the Days media library-toy library of Capbreton, located in the heart of town, offers you, all year round, more than 35 documents that can be borrowed, including books, magazines and newspapers, DVDs, CDs, vinyl records, listening equipment, story boxes for toddlers, board games, video games and even toys.
It is also the Night of Reading from January 23 to 26, the Game Festival on May 17 and the media library at the beach in the summer
